YONKERS, N.Y. – Retired military service members were treated to a picnic and some free entertainment on Veterans Appreciation Day in Yonkers.
Yonkers veterans had a fun-filled afternoon in the sun with food and live music at the John F. Kennedy Marina Saturday.

It was sponsored by the city’s Department of Veterans’ Services and attended by Mayor Mike Spano and Council president Liam J. McLaughlin.
