YONKERS, N.Y. – Westchester County’s first Christmas tree lighting will take place at the Cross County Shopping Center on Saturday, Nov. 22, from 6-8 p.m.
The lighting will take place on The Green, in the center of the mall near Victoria’s Secret.
As part of the tree lighting, Cross County Shopping Center will provide a captivating nighttime light show with synchronizing holiday music. The event will include a concert by the New York City Swing Band, strolling characters, children’s activities, face painting and more.
The first 100 shoppers to visit the Cross County booth, located between Victoria’s Secret and Gap, will receive a voucher to pick up a free live Christmas tree the following weekend on Nov. 29, courtesy of Casale Landscaping.
Santa Claus will be available to take photos and share wishes with families throughout the night. The event and parking are free.
