Movie Mondays: Twilight: 2 p.m. The teen program continues with a shoring of Twilight, a movie about a teen girl who falls in love with a vampire. The Auditorium, Yonkers Riverfront Library, 1 Larkin Center.

Curtain Up! : 9:30 a.m. Yonkers Pathways to Success showcases adult education students enrolled in English as a second language courses who will perform a show demonstrating their growing grasp of the English language. More than 70 adult students will take to the stage, acting in original scenes, singing and providing a festival of foods that celebrate their native cuisines. Tappan Zee Bridge Community Outreach meeting: 6 p.m. Join City Council president Chuck Lesnick and listen as members of Gov. Andrew Cuomos administration give an update on the status the Tappan Zee Bridge project and take questions from the audience. The City Council Chambers, 4th floor of City Hall, 40 S. Broadway.
American Independent Cinema Night: 4:30 p.m. The New York Riverlight International Film Festival continues with a screening of two American films. The Screening Room, Yonkers Riverfront Library, 1 Larkin Center.
Terrific Tuesdays: Princess and Pirates Party: 2 p.m. Come in costume for this party, designed for children ages 4-6. Enjoy stories, crafts and refreshments. The Story Room, Will Branch of Yonkers Public Library, 1500 Central Park Ave.

Brown Bag Lunch and Round Table: 12 p.m. Bring your lunch and take a look into letters between playwright Catherine Ladniers father, Harry, and the women who contributed to the war effort during World War II. Womens studies historian Judy Hart leads an exploration into the life of Rosie the Riveter. The Hudson River Museum, 511 Warburton Ave.
Riverfront Book Club: Silver Girl by Elin Hilderbrand: 1 p.m. The monthly book discussion continues with Silver Girl. The 90-minute discussion will be led by librarian Jody Maier and light refreshments will be served. The Board Room, Riverfront Library, 1 Larkin Center.
Italian Feature Evening: 4:30 p.m. The New York Riverlight International Film Festival continues with a screening of two Italian films. The Screening Room, Yonkers Riverfront Library, 1 Larkin Center.
Thursday, August 2
Roller Disco and Barbecue: 10 a.m. Roller skate to some of todays top hits in pop and R&B before grabbing a bite to eat at the noon barbecue. Admission and parking are free. Skate rental is $4. The E.J. Murray Skating Center, 348 Tuckahoe Road.
