'The Voice' Winner Paul Headlines Yonkers Riverfest

YONKERS, N.Y. -- Jermaine Paul, who won the NBC singing competition "The Voice" in 2012, will headline the 21st Annual Yonkers Riverfest Sept. 7.

Yonkers Riverfest has announced its musical lineup for the Sept. 7 event.

The Business Improvement District's new executive director, Dan Lipka, recently announced Paul will headline the event, which will be from noon to 8 p.m. along the city's waterfront

Throughout the day, other musicians also will entertain on four outdoor stages, including the Nickelodeon-featured group Dirty Socks Funtime Band, who won Time Out NY Kid Reader’s Choice Award for "Best NYC-Based Kids’ Band" and a KISS tribute band.

Visitors also will enjoy carnival games, bouncy castles, animal exhibitions and Skyriders Trampoline Exhibition.

Last year, nearly 25,000 people attended the event.
