The three-day festival will feature “new works by emerging artists,” according to its website, and includes “movies, music videos, lectures, lunches, questions, answers, animation, celebrations, parties, documentaries, discussions, videos, variety, student work, industry professionals and a lot of fun.”
Filmmakers will also have a chance to interact with viewers, who can ask questions about both the art of moviemaking and the business side of the process.
The Yonkers Film Festival will take place at the Yonkers Riverfront Library Theater at 1 Larkin Plaza.
More information is available on the YoFi Fest site here. Filmmakers can also submit their works at that link until August.
