Little seen classic interiors will be seen on the tour guided by local historian Angie Piwinski. It will conclude with luncheon provided by downtown restaurants at a private, restored house adjacent to Saw Mill River Park which has been newly daylighted.
Participants will assemble at Manor Bagels Café at 10:30 am for coffee and bagels. The tour will depart promptly at 11 am, and end with lunch at the Bashford Street home.
Piwinski is a member of the Yonkers Historical Society; the newly elected president of the board of directors of the Friends of Philipse Manor Hall; and a former member of the Yonkers Landmarks Preservation Board.
