The 5K is set for 10 a.m. Saturday beginning at Palisade Avenue’s municipal lot, just south of Roberts Avenue in Yonkers, according to a press release. The Chilly Hilly is set to benefit the Elizabeth Seton Pediatric Center, "a nonprofit pediatric specialty nursing facility for medically fragile children with complex and diverse clinical conditions and disabilities," according to the release.
Pre-registration is $25 with race-day registration set at $30 for adults, $15 for those younger than 18 and active military with ID can register for free, according to the release.
"Come join us as we head out to conquer the 'Hills Of Yonkers' to raise funds for these brave children and their families who need our help," representatives said in the release.
All donations and sign-up forms are available at Riverside Health's website and can be dropped off at the Andrus Pavilion Security Office at 967 North Broadway, Yonkers. Those looking for more information are asked to contact Doug Horsting at (914) 512-4398 or Tony Giannelli at (914) 610-9385.
