She has presented on the black end-of-life experience in many contexts, including at the annual conference of the Association for Death Education and Counseling. She is the editor-in-chief for 30 Minute Manager, an Indie Press she created in 2011, and is a frequent contributor to numerous publications.

Co-sponsored by the master’s program in health advocacy at Sarah Lawrence College, the program is free and open to the public.
