A Key Food store is supposed to replace the A&P that stood in the spot until it was closed in November, according to News 12, which reports that locals in the area are growing increasingly frustrated by what they claim has been slow progress.

CVS, which also will be opening a store in the space, is the main leaseholder of the property and hasn’t responded to a building review application dated Aug. 8, according to News 12.

Among the issues that still need to be addressed at each store is the construction of a total of at least two entrances and exits, according to News 12.

Despite the concerns, the new grocery store is still expected to open by late fall, according to News 12.
