YONKERS, N. Y. -- CVS will buy the former A&P store in Yonkers and use part of it to sell groceries under a deal approved Tuesday by a federal bankruptcy judge, according to lohud.com.
A federal bankruptcy judge approved a deal for CVS to buy an A&P store in Yonkers with the stipulation that it will sell groceries, too.
Judge Robert Drain approved the purchase, saying that it should alleviate the concerns of residents about losing a grocery store. But not everyone is satisfied with the plan, lohud.com reported.
