According to a WPPAC spokesperson, crowds braved the weather to come see the show, and many have left positive reviews on the show's Facebook page.
Jeremy Quinn, director of the musical, said Les Miserables is the perfect inspirational story for the holiday season.
"People should come see 'Les Miserables' because it is a story about triumph over adversity," he said.
"It is about a man who has every odd against him, but he works hard, and, in the end, he gets everything he deserves out of life," he said.
The show runs through Dec. 31, and tickets can be purchased online at www.wppac.com, via telephone at 914-328-1600 or in person by visiting the box office located in the lobby during business hours (11 a.m. - 6 p.m., Monday-Friday).
