A crash on the westbound side of I-287 causing heavy delays early Sunday evening.

The crash, reported around 5:45 p.m., was at the Sprain Brook Parkway (Exit 3), with delays stretching back to Routes 119/100 (Exit 5).

Two lanes on the southbound Sprain Brook Parkway near Payne Street are closed for repairs. Motorists are strongly encouraged to seek alternate routes and expect delays
