Covid-19: Westchester State Of County Address Postponed After Legislator Tests Positive The State of the County address in Westchester has been postponed at the last minute due to a positive COVID-19 test. Westchester County Legislator David Tubiolo announced that he has tested positive for COVID-19 and may have exposed other lawmakers to the virus, forcing the postponement of the evening address on Thursday, Oct. 8, which would have been Westchester County Executive George Latimer's third since taking office. Westchester Honors First Responders Who Served Nation During the last week of National Veterans and Military Families Month, County Executive George Latimer and other County Legislators have presented pins to Westchester First Responders as a symbol of recognition and gratitude for their ongoing services. Officials urge any veteran first responders to reach out to their county legislator if they are interested in receiving a pin.
