Schorr Announces State Senate Run Dan Schorr is the latest candidate to run for County Executive George Latimer's old state senate seat. Schorr, a White Plains resident, announced Thursday he is seeking the Republican nomination to represent the 37th District. The seat became vacant when Latimer was elected county executive.
