In Loving Memory Of White Plains Native Joanne Medicus Squires, 62 After battling her sustained illnesses, Joanne Squires died quietly at home on July 19, 2023. “Jo” was born on August 4, 1960, in New York City to Philip Jay and Rose “Davy” Medicus. She lived her entire childhood on Baylor Circle in White Plains and attended White Plains public schools, graduating White Plains High School in 1978. Jo attended the University of Maryland, graduating with a B.A. in Sociology in 1982. Jo married her high school sweetheart, Scott, in April 1984. Two sons, Doug and Danny, followed.
