Slip-Slide Conditions Causing Metro-North Delays Slip-slide conditions of rain combined with fallen leave are causing delays late Friday evening on the Metro-North Harlem Line. The delays of up to 20 minutes are as a result of the conditions between North White Plains and Southeast, Metro-North said. Customers are being advised to listen to announcements at local stations. A North Lane resident reported to police shortly before 4:15 a.m. on Saturday, June 16 that she heard what she believed to be two gunshots, five minutes earlier, leading to a police investigation in the area. Staff Member Strikes Student At Jennie Clarkson Campus, Police Say Police were dispatched to a Westchester school campus following a report of a student who was allegedly hit by a staff member. Officers from the North Castle Police Department responded to the Valhalla campus of the Jennie Clarkson Campus in the Greenburgh-North Castle Union Free School District in North White Plains on Tuesday, May 8, following a report from a clinical director who stated that a resident reported that she had been struck by a staff member two days earlier.
