Slip-Slide Conditions Causing Metro-North Delays Slip-slide conditions of rain combined with fallen leave are causing delays late Friday evening on the Metro-North Harlem Line. The delays of up to 20 minutes are as a result of the conditions between North White Plains and Southeast, Metro-North said. Customers are being advised to listen to announcements at local stations. A North Lane resident reported to police shortly before 4:15 a.m. on Saturday, June 16 that she heard what she believed to be two gunshots, five minutes earlier, leading to a police investigation in the area.
