Unsurprisingly, all of those in his sights were among the 105 Republicans who voted to kick him out of office amid mounting accusations of criminality. This new law allows a voter to get an absentee ballot due to risk or fear of illness including COVID-19 and ensures all absentee ballots postmarked on or before Election Day or received by the Board of …

Safe Boxes Should Be Added At Town Halls In Westchester For Mail-In Voting, Supervisor Says
The writer, Paul Feiner, is Greenburgh's town supervisor. Many voters complained during the June primary that they did not receive absentee ballots in a timely manner after they submitted the requests. And, other voters worry that the postal service may lose the absentee ballots in the mail, depriving voters of their right to vote. Or, that the ballots arrive after the deadline passed. Our postal service is not very reliable - many letters are lost, sent to the wrong address. Inasmuch as we can't count on the Postal Service to send ballots to the right address in t…

A judge is reportedly currently reviewing Thomas’ case, while the Board of Elections says there is no merit to the lawsuit. If she is ultimately elected in the heavily Democrat-leaning city, Patterson-Howard - …

Mount Vernon Mayor Richard Thomas is crying foul, claiming that the Democratic primary was rigged, prompting him to file a lawsuit against the Board of Elections and his challengers. When the results were tallied following the primary on Tuesday, June 25, Thomas trailed Shawn Patterson-Howard unofficially by 204 votes, as she garnered 33 percent of the votes to Thomas’ 30 percent. Some absentee ballots can still be counted, but it is unclear if they will be enough to save Thomas. Thomas, who is facing mounting legal troubles for missing campaign funds and has recently come under fire by o…
