Driver Takes Police On High-Speed Chase In Westchester Before Crashing Into Tree A 23-year-old man with a dozen suspensions on his license took officers on a short high-speed chase in Westchester before it came to a crashing halt when he struck an ornamental tree, police said. An officer on patrol from the Scarsdale Police Department on Weaver Street was alerted by his vehicle’s License Plate Reader stating that a 2017 Chevrolet had been suspended or revoked due to “for-hire insurance canceled.” According to police, the officer later saw the vehicle pull into the Balducci’s parking lot and the driver turned the headlights off in an attempt to hide himself, police said.…
