Pace University in Pleasantville will host the championships in 2018.

Players, fans, coaches and athletic directors have expressed disappointment that an agreement with the county was not reached to keep the games at the tradition-rich venue that's served as its host almost every season since 1933 (except 1987 and 2005).

Section 1 is made up of high school programs in Westchester, Rockland, Putnam and Dutchess counties.
