The district’s Board of Education President Rosemarie Eller presented the award to Fred Seiler, assistant superintendent for Business, earlier this month. This year marks the 28th consecutive year the Association has honored the school district with the award.

According to the school district, the award – the highest form of recognition a school district can receive in the area of finance – was given in recognition of the White Plains City School District’s Comprehensive Annual Financial Report.

Eller highlighted the efforts of a number of people involved with the report while thanking Seiler, including Carol Stein, school business administrator/treasurer, and the rest of the Business Office staff, according to the district’s statement.
