NY Board Of Regents Postpones Using Common Core Scores

The board's committee voted on panel recommendations upon its review of the standardized tests and their usefulness to assess student and teacher performance, the article says.

The committee is composed of the full board, it says.

State educators have wanted a delay in utilizing the tests to make the assessments due to a "flawed rollout" of the Common Core tests in 2014, according to the Poughkeepsie Journal.
