The center is set to offer the workshop for students from sixth to 12th grade from 9 to 11:30 a.m. on Feb. 18, 19 and 21 at Pace University at 78 N. Broadway in White Plains. 

"Staffed by certified teachers, the workshop will focus on the top skills for successful essay writing including understanding the topic, brainstorming, sentence structure and paragraph flow," representatives said.

Cost for the course is $175. To register or for more information, residents can contact 914-422-4135 or mdelany@pace.edu.
