Marc Kasowitz, who previously lived in Mount Kisco, said he would apologize for responding to someone who thought he should resign as Trump's attorney with four profane and threatening emails, according to ProPublica.com.

The exchange began when the investigative journalism site ProPublica published a report claiming Kasowitz had a history of alcohol abuse which could rule out a security clearance. Kasowitz's spokesman has denied the story.

The unidentified email writer wrote to Kasowitz and said no good can come from him defending Trump. Kasowitz responded by telling the man to "watch his back" and "I already know where you Live. I am onto you."

The man contacted the FBI. Kasowitz's spokesman said the emails came at the end of a very long day.
