Woman Injured In Fall Outside White Plains' Westchester Mall

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. - A woman found on the sidewalk outside of the Westchester Mall Thursday afternoon was being treated at an area hospital for injuries from some type of fall, police said.

White Plains Police would not say what happened to the woman, who was found injured on Bloomingdale Road about 3:20 p.m. Thursday, said Det. Lt. Eric Fischer.

Bloomingdale Road was blocked off to southbound traffic near Westchester Avenue. A portion of the sidewalk on Bloomingdale Road was marked off with police tape, and there were two pieces of pink clothing seen near that area.

The Westchester is a three-level mall. Police are asking anyone with information on how the woman was  injured to call the detective's division at 914-422 6223.
