Suspect Nabbed In Slashing At Popular White Plains Restaurant

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- A local man attending a special event at a popular White Plains restaurant on Sunday got into a dispute with a security guard and ended up slashing the man with a box cutter.

The event took place around 1:30 a.m. at the Wild Fusion Asian Sushi Grill & Bar when Lamont Person, 46, got into a dispute with the security guard and slashed him several times with a box cutter, White Plains Police Chief Anne FitzSimmons told Daily Voice.

The guard, who was cut several times, was treated a local hospital, police said.

Person was charged with assault and criminal possession of a weapon.
