Police Search For Bank Robbery Suspect At Chase In Downtown White Plains

WHITE PLAINS, N. Y. -- City police are searching for a man who reportedly took $150 from a Chase bank branch in White Plains on Wednesday afternoon after handing a note to the teller, according to multiple reports.

There were no weapons involved and no injuries reported. But the investigation brought in a large response from area police departments to Main and Church streets, lohud.com says.

The man was described by witnesses as a black male in his 50s with glasses, a silver mustache and goattee, and wearing a black shirt, lohud.com reports.
