WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. -- For firefighters, it was a routine fire, but for residents, the flames and smoke from a garbage truck fire on South Lexington Avenue in White Plains on Monday was a sight to see.
Daily Voice
White Plains firefighters said the fire was probably caused by an engine problem and the fire was put out within minutes without any injuries or damage to nearby buildings.
