A total of 77 traffic citations, including 40 violations of the “Move Over Law,” and nine violations for distracted driving were issued to motorists during a highway safety enforcement initiative in Westchester County on Wednesday.
The initiative was conducted on the Taconic State Parkway and the Sprain Brook Parkway late Wednesday morning into the early afternoon.

Troopers will continue to increase enforcement throughout the holiday period, state police said.
