Michele Capone, 83, Formerly Of White Plains, Owned Coachman Hairstyling

CRANFORD, N.J. - Michele Capone, formerly of White Plains, died Saturday, Oct. 5. He was 83.

Capone was born Feb. 4, 1930, in Ruvo di Puglia, Italy. He was the son of Luigi and Anna (Tallerico) Capone. He immigrated to the United States in 1960 with his wife and infant son. He owned and operated Coachman Hairstyling in White Plains for over 40 years.

Capone is survived by his children, Louis Capone (Susan) of Las Vegas, Nev., Anna Newcastle (Edward) of Cary, N.C., Licia Royka (Richard) of Albany, N.Y., and Anthony Capone (Karen) of Cranford; and 12 grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife, Maria.

Calling hours are Friday, Oct. 11 from 4 to 8 p.m. at McMahon Funeral Home in White Plains. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 12 at St. Anthony’s Church in West Harrison.
