Frank Grande, 77, Retired White Plains Highway Dept. Worker

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. -- Frank Grande of White Plains died Monday, Sept. 8. He was 77.

Grande was born May 1, 1937, in Guardia Dei Lombardi, Italy, to Filomena and Michael Grande.

He worked for the City of White Plains in the Highway Dept. for 25 years.

Grande is survived by his wife, Esther; son, Frank (Alicia) Grande of White Plains; daughter-in-law, Nellie Grande; three grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased a son, Michael.

Calling hours are Wednesday, Sept. 10 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the McMahon, Lyon & Hartnett Funeral Home Inc., 491 Mamaroneck Ave., White Plains.

A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 11, at Westchester Christian Worship Center, 294 Old Mamaroneck Road in White Plains with pastor Russ Hodgins officiating.

Interment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Address 10 W. Stevens Ave., Hawthorne.
