WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. -- Esther Yolanda Labra, a resident of White Plains, died Sunday, Sept. 13. She was 87.
Labra was born Dec. 24, 1927, in Cuba to the late Francisco and Felina Alvarez.
She is survived by her children, Yolanda (Peter) Pisacreta of White Plains and Ed (Denise) Labra of Atlanta; a brother, Orlando Alvarez, and a sister, Amparo Saiz, both of Houston; her grandchildren, Amanda and Robert Labra, Anthony Sanchez, Andrea Rosa and Gabriella Pisacreta; and her great-grandchildren, Daria, Kiara, Leo, Logan Rosa, Joe and Kyle Washburn.
Labra was predeceased by her husband, Raimundo Labra, and brother, Francisco Alvarez.
Visitation will be at the McMahon, Lyon & Hartnett Funeral Home, 491 Mamaroneck Ave., White Plains, from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 15.A funeral service will take place Wednesday, Sept. 16.
