Brian Bond, 35, was rushed to Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla after a boat crash on Friday near the Tappan Zee Bridge.
The crash resulted in the death of his fiancee Lindsey Stewart and best man Mark Lennon.
Bond is an art teacher with the White Plains School District. He is recovering from severe facial injuries.
Interim Superintendent of Schools for White Plains, Timothy Conners, said Bond had a minor operation Monday and expected him to be released Tuesday.
Parents received a letter from the school district explaining the events of the accident.
Visiting hours for Stewart will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m., Wednesday, at the Wyman-Fisher Funeral Home in Pearl River. Her funeral will be held on Thursday at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Pearl River.
Visiting hours for Lennon will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m., Thursday, at the Wyman-Fisher Funeral Home. A funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m., Friday, at St. John the Baptist Church in Piermont.
