White Plains Stargazers Could See Rare Glow Of Northern Lights

Star gazers throughout the Northeast could have the chance to see the Northern Lights on Tuesday night.

Viewing the atmospheric phenomenon will be best during the first half of the night in an area with minimal light pollution. Aurora Borealis will be visible toward the northern horizon.

In addition to the northern lights, the Taurids meteor shower will take place and could produce as many as 10 meteors per hour.
