White Plains Penthouse's Spectacular Views Draw Couple To The 'Burbs'

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. -- A Manhattan couple who never thought they would move to the "burbs" recently finished a $600,000 renovation on a White Plains 38th-floor penthouse at the Ritz Carlton Residences, which offers stunning, unobstructed views all the way back to their old stomping grounds, according to lohud.com.

Ilysa Kaminsky had no intention of leaving the city until she received a little push from her husband, David, to take a look at the space in downtown White Plains. But from the minute she walked into the two-bedroom condo building, she knew the unfinished space would become their home, said lohud.com.

The couple agree while showing off the finished project that they would never have found anything close to their new home in Manhattan. Besides the never-ending views, the home also features subtle mirrored surfaces and backdrops to feature their collection of Keith Haring artwork, in addition to a huge master bedroom and a guest room. Now that the six-month renovation is complete, Ilyssa told lohud.com you can't beat the views, added Lohud.com.
