White Plains Mayor Dedicates New Bus For Senior Center

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. -- White Plains Mayor Tom Roach dedicated a new bus for the White Plains Senior Center on Monday, Sept. 30.

The new bus is a 21-passenger capacity Arboc shuttle bus that can also accommodate 2 wheelchairs. It is specially with a low floor and no steps. The bus is also front "kneeling," meaning the driver can lower the front end of the bus to almost curb height level if needed.

The new bus can be seen at the Senior Center, located at 65 Mitchell Place in White Plains.
