White Plains Could See Flash Flooding

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- Heavy rain could produce areas of flash flooding in Westchester County on Thursday, according to the National Weather Service.

Showers and thunderstorms will move through the area all day. Showers have the ability to produce heavy rain into the evening which could cause flash flooding in certain areas. High temperatures will be around 77 degrees. Chance of rain is 100 percent throughout the evening.

Wet weather could linger into Friday before noon before gradually clearing. Expect highs to once again be around 77.

Saturday will be mostly sunny with a high of 78. Scattered showers may move through the area in the afternoon.

Sunday will likely see more showers and possible thunderstorms with highs in the mid-70s.
