WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. -- Here’s a look at what will be open and what will be closed in White Plains on Thanksgiving, Thursday, Nov. 28, a federal holiday.

All state, federal and local government offices will be closed on Thursday, Nov. 28 in observance of Thanksgiving.

What's closed:

White Plains Public Schools and all school offices will be closed.
White Plains City Hall and all city offices will be closed.
All Post Offices will be closed.
The White Plains Public Library will be closed.
Most banks will be closed.
All courts and state and federal government offices will be closed.

What's open:

Check with individual restaurants and retail outlets for any special holiday hours on Thursday.

Metro-North will have additional trains running into and out of Grand Central Terminal before and after the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. Click here for train times.
