A new study released for New York by Autolist.com show that Westchester County ranks No. 16 in the state as one of the most affordable places in the state to purchase a car.

Rockland wasn't left out either. It ranked even higher at No. 7. And, New York ranks No. 4 overall in the nation for the most affordable cars.

The website uses a detailed methodology to come up with the rankings including taking a look at everything from prices on Edmunds.com to eBay and more than 4.5 billion, yes billion, data points (vehicles) to come up with the most affordable prices on a monthly basis.
