Westchester County Center Hosts Open Gym Nights In July

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. – The Westchester County Center will host several Open Gym nights in July for teenagers to interact with each other and stay active, the county said.

The Open Gym nights will occur Mondays through Fridays beginning Monday, July 1 and running until Friday, July 26. They will not be held Thursday, July 4 and Friday, July 6.

Teenagers in grades six through 12 can participate and enjoy themselves in the air-conditioned arena. They will have the chance to play basketball, chess and other board games, as well as other recreational activities such as foosball, Noc hockey and Ping Pong.

Adult staff members from the County Parks Department will supervise the activities.

Admission to and parking for the Open Gym nights will be free.
