Temperatures Could Dip Below Freezing Mark In White Plains

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- Westchester could see it first sub-freezing temperatures since April overnight into Monday.

According to the National Weather Service, a freeze watch is in effect from late Sunday night through Monday morning for Westchester, as well as other areas in southeast New York, southern Connecticut and northeast New Jersey.

The time frame for the freeze watch is from 2 a.m. to 10 a.m. Monday.

Sunday's high temperature will be between 47 and 49 degrees with sunny skies early that will give way to clouds as the day progresses.

Overnight lows will be between 30 and 32 degrees with the the wind-chill factor around 25 degrees.

The outlook for Monday is sunny skies and a high between 50 and 52.

Daytime highs are expected to be in the mid 60s Tuesday through Thursday under mostly sunny skies.
