The New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services issued an alert this week to Westchester residents regarding the residency of 49-year-old Anthony Gerald Ballone, who has moved from Valhalla to a residence on Park Avenue in White Plains.

The Division of Criminal Justice Services has assigned Ballone as a Level 3 threat, which means he is a “high-risk repeat offender and a possible threat to public safety.” He has also been designated as a sexually violent sex offender.

According to the Division of Criminal Justice Services, Ballone had deviate sexual intercourse and sexual contact with a 6-year-old girl who was familiar with him in June 2008. Ballone was arrested by the Mamaroneck Town Police Department and convicted of first-degree course of sexual conduct against a child under the age of 13 in December 2013. Ballone was sentenced to a term of six years in state prison and is now under the jurisdiction of the White Plains City Police Department.
