Even with the new 138,000 volt feeder in place, full service will not be restored to the New Haven line immediately as Metro-North still has to run tests on the power line. Metro-North officials said they should know by Friday afternoon when full service will be restored, according to LoHud.com.
Metro-North and Con Ed have been working since Sept. 25 to restore power to the New Haven line and Con Ed's most recent estimate had been Oct. 7, according to LoHud.com.
