Renovated Starbucks Reopen In White Plains, Rye, Rye Brook

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- Just in time for National Coffee Day, newly renovated Starbucks shops reopened at 200 Main St. in White Plains as well as on Purchase Street in Rye and at the Rye Ridge Shopping Center.

Coffee-thirsty customers lined up at the Renaissance Plaza Starbucks after an 18-day makeover this month.

The 18-day renovation at the coffee shop outside of Macy's was completed last week; the White Plains shop reopened Thursday.

Did National Coffee Day make brewing busier today?

"We're just always busy,'' said Lauren Kostiw, store manager at White Plains' Renaissance Plaza Starbucks.

The Starbucks in Rye Brook reopened Aug. 29 after a 10-day renovation, and the one in the city of Rye also recently remodeled its shop as part of a nationwide overhaul by the Seattle-based coffee giant.
