WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. – White Plains’ natives and rappers Matisyahu and Stan Ipcus will share the stage in March in a celebration of their hometown, according to a report by The Examiner News.

The March 11 concert, to be held at Port Chester’s Capitol Theater, also marks the 10th anniversary of Matisyahu’s album, “Youth,” The Examiner News reported.

Other local musical talents will also perform during the event, including Bill Laswell's Method of Defiance.

"Youth" was nominated for a Grammy award for best Raggae album.

The title is appropriate in light of the face that Matisyahu and Ipcus were also childhood friends, The Examiner News reported.

They will perform “WP,” a rap about growing up in White Plains, The Examiner News article said.
