Patricia, Strongest Hurricane On Record, Weakens To Tropical Storm

Patricia, which struck the Mexican coast Friday evening as the strongest hurricane ever recorded at sea, has been been downgraded to a Tropical Storm, but is causing heavy flooding in the south central United States.

There have been no reports of deaths or heavy damage in Mexico as of Saturday morning.

There is now a high risk of flash flooding in Texas.

Remnants of the storm could reach this area late Wednesday, with rainfall expected Wednesday night into Thursday morning.
