Representatives from First Niagara Bank in Mount Kisco, including Cathy Seale, Vice President - Branch Manager, presented LSHV staff with a check to support the non-profit’s housing stabilization efforts in Westchester County.
Through this program, LSHV promotes household and community stabilization by assisting low-income Westchester residents with foreclosure counseling, mortgage modification and eviction prevention to ensure their right are preserved. Ultimately, this program aims to reduces homelessness, stabilizes communities, and keep families in their homes so they can retain and build assets and break the cycle of poverty.
“Legal Services of the Hudson Valley helped more than 32,000 people last year throughout our seven-county service area, and we could not have done it without the partnership and support of our friends at First Niagara Bank and First Niagara Foundation. Together, we can help our less-fortunate neighbors improve their lives and continue to provide shelter for their families,” said Chief Development Officer, Tom Gabriel.
