Kraft Tweaks Mac And Cheese Recipe, Reveals New Ad Campaign

A new version of Kraft Macaroni & Cheese that replaces artificial dyes with paprika, annatto and turmeric hit shelves in December but was just announced Sunday, reports the New York Times.

For the past three months, Kraft has been selling its Macaroni & Cheese with no artificial flavors, preservatives or dyes. And people are still loving it. Because it still tastes like Kraft Macaroni & Cheese.

Over 50 million boxes of the reformulated product were sold without anyone noticing a difference, reports the New York Times.

Last spring's announcement to remove artificial colors caused social media noise regarding potential changes in taste, reports the New York Times.

Kraft rolled out a social media campaign #didntnotice to draw attention to the changes no one noticed, reports the New York Times.
