Kelly is overseeing all host activities leading up to Super Bowl XLVIII, the first outdoor, cold-weather Super Bowl, which will be held on Feb. 2, 2014, at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J., home stadium of both the Giants and Jets. The game is projected to pump more than $500 million into the regional economy.
Kelly, 54, was appointed to the NY/NJ Super Bowl Host Committee in April 2011. He was with the American Express Company for 23 years, most recently as president of the financial services giant from 2007 to 2010.
