The White Plains-based company has sponsored the safe ride program for the past nine years to promote responsible consumption among those 21 and older traveling anywhere in White Plains or Westchester County. A dedicated fleet will be on the corner of East Post Road and Mamaroneck Avenue between 11 p.m. and 3 a.m.
"Driving while intoxicated is a serious offense that can have tragic consequences, including the loss of lives," said District Attorney Janet DiFiore. "Acting responsibly at holiday time and year-round should be every driver's first consideration.”
The White Plains New Year’s Eve Spectacular will again feature a ball drop at midnight on Main and Court streets accompanied by confetti and a four-minute fireworks display. There will be a DJ and music from 10 p.m. to around 12:30 a.m..
