Former Police Commissioner Discusses Security For Pope Francis' Visit

YONKERS, N.Y. – With Pope Francis readying his first American visit, he former police commissioner of Yonkers discussed the challenge of security during a papal visit, according to News 12 Westchester.

Edmund Hartnett was police commissioner during Pope Benedict's visit to America in 2008.

Hartnett called the event 'a logistical nightmare' with months of planning, reported News 12 Westchester.

Hartnett served as police commissioner in Yonkers from 2006 to 2011.
